Me, I had leftovers for lunch: a breaded porkchop and some high-end macaroni and cheese (noodles in a four-cheese sauce). I'm washing it down with a Fresca (us older Tigers have to watch our weight).
Before that, I had a peanut butter sandwich (smooth peanut better, alas--I'd much rather prefer crunchy, but the cubs don't like it, so Mrs. Tiger rarely buys it) and a banana for breakfast, with some water. Had a snack of some applesauce between breakfast and lunch.
I have no idea what's for dinner--Mrs. Tiger does all the cooking--but I'm sure it will be good. Yesterday's dinner was BBQ pork sandwiches.
How about you?

For lunch, I whipped myself up a gourmet meal: caesar salad, watermellon balls, a cheese sandwich ( we were out of cold cuts), and home-brewed iced tea (con lemon) in my favorite Steelers glass.
And Tigger, I feel bad for ya. Crunchy peanut butter is INFINETLY better than smooth.

I'm munching on some sunflower seeds at the moment. On deck for lunch, I have some tuna on bread, with a Diet Pepsi chaser.

Breakfast was some iced tea.
Dinner? I've no idea.

Today is day four of giving up candy and chips. So, for today it's been a turkey wrap.
Tonight is marinaded chicken (which reminds me I need to marinade the chicken), carrots and noodles.

I'm also going to the gym more often, which I hate, hate, HATE!

Hey Tiger, I've got a PT routine that'll show serious results, and you'll hate WAY more than the gym.

I just had mexicana for lunch. *urp* I'll let you know how it works out in a hour.

Woke up already late, snatched a cup of black coffee and a Krispy Kreme on my way into the traffic snarled hell of the Beltway. I hate Krispy Kreme, but 1 handed fare is hard to come by. Why is everytihgn in the South either fried in lard or sugar coated, or both, and fried again?
Lunch: Since I unexpectedly ran into a friend, I went to lunch, had Thai, yummy!
Dinner will probaly be a bowl of Cheerios, I am sleepy.

Dinner: Leftover spaghetti (ground turkey).

Breakfast - Multigrain cereals with green tea and two glasses of orange juice
Lunch - Grilled chicken sandwiches with salad, no butter or sauce and two pieces of fruit. More green tea.
Supper - Diced stir fried lamb in a garlic and hoisin sauce, with mixed peppers, mushrooms, beansprouts and rice noodles. Diet Lemonade, more green tea.
Snacks - Fruit, green tea
Plus an hour of sword, half an our of axe, half an hour of dagger, 15 minutes each of Iaido & Kenjitsu, an hour of mostly Krav Maga but a variety of open hand styles that integrates into Alistair-do, and an hour of physio in the morning.
All this keeps me a lean, mean, crippled fighting machines that's still able to walk.

Breakfast this morning from the cafeteria at work: a small container of scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, some potatoes, one sausage patty, one strip of bacon. Total cost: $3.77. Though I love bacon, I have to go easy on it, because 1) it's not good for you, and 2) because the cafeteria here charges 49 cents per piece.
D3720: were you trying to provide me with some kind of link? Because it didn't work. Maybe I'll just Google "Crossfit."
I work out for an hour twice a week at the gym here at work, on my lunch break. I remember a loooooooong time ago, before kids and the 3-hour commute every day, when I had time to work out for the same amount of time that some of you dudes do. I used to go for bike rides that lasted several hours.

Links are invisible on this new board it seems. If you mouse hover over crossfit, you'll find that it is indeed a link.
Tiger Raja
Jul 10 2008, 11:08 AM
@D3720: I saw it was a link, but it took me to a Millenium Gate "error message" page.
@Davross: It takes me an hour and a half (by subway and bus) to get either to work or home; I live 50 miles from where I work. Why live so far away? Quality of life, brother. Where I live is a fantastic place to raise kids. Great schools, excellent neighbors, virtually crime-free, and the housing was very affordable when I bought mine in 2001 (not so much now, as housing prices have gone through the roof).
My commute's not so bad: I've gotten used to sleeping on the bus. Though I could do without having to get up at 4:30 in the morning....

Breakfast today was just a couple pieces of pumpkin bread.
For lunch, I had some sirlion burger soup, watermellon, peaches, orange juice, and another cheese sandwich. We're kind of overloaded on cheese at the moment, so I need to eat it before it all goes bad.

I had some guacamole for breakfast.

It was on sale with my bonus card.

Lunch looks to be as unadventurous and affordable as yesterday. Dinner tonight uncertain. Last night's was zesty salad plundered from the supermarket's salad bar with some not-as-good-as-it-could-be fried chicken.
My commute is only about 40 minutes a day, but then I get what I pay for.

I didn't have breakfast yesterday (haven't eaten yet today). My dad took me out to eat for my B-Day yesterday, I got this BBQ hamburger toped with Jalapeno cheese and bacon and a ceaser salid on the side, with cake and ice cream for dessert, and like three bottles of orange cream soda *urp*. For super we just had cheese and crakers with milk. Today (meaning yesterday) was a good day, a very good day indeed

Last night we went out to a wonderful seafood place where I had blackened Swordfish. Earlier in the day I had a Friendly's icecream cone (coffee), which I haven't had in over 20 years. After dinner we went to an Irish pub, drank Guiness, and listened to some fine celtic rock complete with a bagpipe, fiddle, and accordian. Aah--one happy penguino. I think I'm going to like Dayton.

Been at a BB tourney over the weekend (I'll post pics once I have them).
Friday: Got into Manchester, went straight to a games store on Komads insistence (stank it did, the worst kind of games store

). Had fish and chips for tea, and then found ourselves a pub.
Saturday: Sausage and bacon butties for breakfast. yum

. Lunch was a subwar sandwich (meatballs and cheese) and dinner consisted of a late night trip to mcdonalds (it being the only place open at 11).
Today: Sausage butty for breakfast, a banana for a snack, and due to trains I missed lunch. Though I'm having a BBQ at home tonight with the family

Cape Cod? Have a clam cake for me, please. Dip it in a little ketsup, not tarter or cocktail sauce because they overpower it. If you want a milkshake, remember to order a "frappe" (rymes with wrap) or you might get shaken milk.

Tate's gamestore had free barbeque to go with the new game. I ate two hot dogs (because the bun was so long it looked weird w/ just one) and a burger and a half. Oh, and I had a Miller Lite. Also pretzels, for a literal "beer-and-pretzels game." Now I have an upset stomach. Ow.

Actually, lately a lot of ribs. The galley here aboard the Express has been doing a bang up job with cranking out ribs.
Only thing I can figure is that someone must have driven a bus through a heard of pigs onshore so we got the meat cheap. But it's been tender and tasty!
Had food poisoning AGAIN early this trip. Unreal, I get that about every other time I come to India. You'd think I'd learn.
