Me, I had leftovers for lunch: a breaded porkchop and some high-end macaroni and cheese (noodles in a four-cheese sauce). I'm washing it down with a Fresca (us older Tigers have to watch our weight).

Before that, I had a peanut butter sandwich (smooth peanut better, alas--I'd much rather prefer crunchy, but the cubs don't like it, so Mrs. Tiger rarely buys it) and a banana for breakfast, with some water. Had a snack of some applesauce between breakfast and lunch.

I have no idea what's for dinner--Mrs. Tiger does all the cooking--but I'm sure it will be good. Yesterday's dinner was BBQ pork sandwiches.

How about you?
Alun
For lunch, I whipped myself up a gourmet meal: caesar salad, watermellon balls, a cheese sandwich ( we were out of cold cuts), and home-brewed iced tea (con lemon) in my favorite Steelers glass.

And Tigger, I feel bad for ya. Crunchy peanut butter is INFINETLY better than smooth.
Sproston Green
I'm munching on some sunflower seeds at the moment. On deck for lunch, I have some tuna on bread, with a Diet Pepsi chaser. cool.gif Breakfast was some iced tea. smile.gif

Dinner? I've no idea. sad.gif
Needles
Today is day four of giving up candy and chips. So, for today it's been a turkey wrap.

Tonight is marinaded chicken (which reminds me I need to marinade the chicken), carrots and noodles.
Tiger Raja
I've been trying to cut down on the sweets and the fats. Results are...mixed.

I'm also going to the gym more often, which I hate, hate, HATE!
Devilsquid
Hey Tiger, I've got a PT routine that'll show serious results, and you'll hate WAY more than the gym. wink.gif

I just had mexicana for lunch. *urp* I'll let you know how it works out in a hour.
Tiger Raja
What's your routine?

No, seriously.
the chosen gobbo
For lunch I had a meat and potato pie. Right now (at 10.30, just after I've finished work) I got a pizza in the oven.

Having an unhealthy day today for a change biggrin.gif

Woke up already late, snatched a cup of black coffee and a Krispy Kreme on my way into the traffic snarled hell of the Beltway. I hate Krispy Kreme, but 1 handed fare is hard to come by. Why is everytihgn in the South either fried in lard or sugar coated, or both, and fried again?

Lunch: Since I unexpectedly ran into a friend, I went to lunch, had Thai, yummy!

Dinner will probaly be a bowl of Cheerios, I am sleepy.
Sho T BigHed
Lunch: Chipotle chicken burrito with black beans, tomato, corn, lettuce and rice. Yum! Although somehow black beans ended up in my shirt pocket....

Dinner: Leftover spaghetti (ground turkey).
JenBurdoo
For lunch, half a footlong from Subway -- turkey and tomato on wheat with mayo. For dinner, the other half, and a can of Coke.
d3720
Breakfast was a loaded omelet, with an orange, and some bacon on the side.

Lunch was a turkey sandwich.

Dinner was meatloaf with a side of steamed broccoli and succotash.

Crossfit

No, seriously. Results, in less time. You just work harder. biggrin.gif
Also, be sure to check out the Start Here and FAQ before dismissing it out of hand.

Snacks - Fruit, green tea

Plus an hour of sword, half an our of axe, half an hour of dagger, 15 minutes each of Iaido & Kenjitsu, an hour of mostly Krav Maga but a variety of open hand styles that integrates into Alistair-do, and an hour of physio in the morning.

All this keeps me a lean, mean, crippled fighting machines that's still able to walk. smile.gif
the chosen gobbo
Breakfast: wheatabix (hate the stuff) with apple juice and a banana.

Going to walk the dog for an hour now, and then do some painting. In work at 1 (hate evening shifts, though it's only two weeks to go).
Tiger Raja
Breakfast this morning from the cafeteria at work: a small container of scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, some potatoes, one sausage patty, one strip of bacon. Total cost: $3.77. Though I love bacon, I have to go easy on it, because 1) it's not good for you, and 2) because the cafeteria here charges 49 cents per piece. blink.gif

D3720: were you trying to provide me with some kind of link? Because it didn't work. Maybe I'll just Google "Crossfit."

I work out for an hour twice a week at the gym here at work, on my lunch break. I remember a loooooooong time ago, before kids and the 3-hour commute every day, when I had time to work out for the same amount of time that some of you dudes do. I used to go for bike rides that lasted several hours.
davross
3 hour commute!?! blink.gif Dude.... why, just why?
d3720
Links are invisible on this new board it seems. If you mouse hover over crossfit, you'll find that it is indeed a link.
Tiger Raja
@D3720: I saw it was a link, but it took me to a Millenium Gate "error message" page.

@Davross: It takes me an hour and a half (by subway and bus) to get either to work or home; I live 50 miles from where I work. Why live so far away? Quality of life, brother. Where I live is a fantastic place to raise kids. Great schools, excellent neighbors, virtually crime-free, and the housing was very affordable when I bought mine in 2001 (not so much now, as housing prices have gone through the roof).

My commute's not so bad: I've gotten used to sleeping on the bus. Though I could do without having to get up at 4:30 in the morning.... wacko.gif
d3720
Hmm. Yes indeed, I suck at these fancy new boards. Anyway. www.crossfit.com
Alun
Breakfast today was just a couple pieces of pumpkin bread.

For lunch, I had some sirlion burger soup, watermellon, peaches, orange juice, and another cheese sandwich. We're kind of overloaded on cheese at the moment, so I need to eat it before it all goes bad.

4:30 a.m.!? Man, and I rolled out of bed at 10 this morning. . .
Sproston Green
I had some guacamole for breakfast. smile.gif It was on sale with my bonus card. cool.gif Lunch looks to be as unadventurous and affordable as yesterday. Dinner tonight uncertain. Last night's was zesty salad plundered from the supermarket's salad bar with some not-as-good-as-it-could-be fried chicken.

My commute is only about 40 minutes a day, but then I get what I pay for. wink.gif
the chosen gobbo
My commute is either a 40 min walk, or a 10 min cycle (would be less of a cycle, but theres lots of steps on the shortest route).

Don't all you drivers just hate me now? tongue.gif

Lunch was a cheese &pasta salad. I tend to hate food that doesn't involve meat...

Dinner was lamb, with veggies and potatos. Not bat at all smile.gif
Tiger Raja
Having a Good Humor chocolate eclair ice cream bar right now. YUM! biggrin.gif
d3720
Breakfast was scrambled eggs, with bacon, an orange, and a glass of milk.

Lunch was BBQ Chicken, Sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, and milk

Dinner was BBQ Chicken, Succotash, Beans, and an apple.

the chosen gobbo
Breakfast so far has been wheatabix (I REALLY hate that stuff). Along with apple juice. In about 5 minutes, it'll have finished with a bacon sandwich biggrin.gif

Not planned for lunch yet...
d3720
Breakfast was Scrambled eggs, bacon, some melon, an apple, and milk

Lunch was country style steak, cabbage, mixed vegetables, an egg salad, and milk

Dinner was an pinapple chicken and an orange.

Seeing that it's friday, all of this will be topped off with a couple of gallons of beer and a few shots tonight. Hopefully I can find a show.
Catachin Devil
I didn't have breakfast yesterday (haven't eaten yet today). My dad took me out to eat for my B-Day yesterday, I got this BBQ hamburger toped with Jalapeno cheese and bacon and a ceaser salid on the side, with cake and ice cream for dessert, and like three bottles of orange cream soda *urp*. For super we just had cheese and crakers with milk. Today (meaning yesterday) was a good day, a very good day indeed cool.gif.
Tiger Raja
Had an awesome spicy buffalo chicken sub yesterday for lunch. Mmmmm.....

Dinner was a single cheeseburger and a chocolate Frosty from Wendy's. wub.gif
Cambyses
Last night we went out to a wonderful seafood place where I had blackened Swordfish. Earlier in the day I had a Friendly's icecream cone (coffee), which I haven't had in over 20 years. After dinner we went to an Irish pub, drank Guiness, and listened to some fine celtic rock complete with a bagpipe, fiddle, and accordian. Aah--one happy penguino. I think I'm going to like Dayton.
FireberdGnome
Cooked a BBQ (burgers and hot links!) for the guys at work. Beans, mac and cheese, roasted 'taters smile.gif

Been munching mac and cheese since wink.gif

mmm, Blackened Swordfish! I 'll be on Cape Cod in two weeks, can't wait to get seafood fresh off the boat.

Had bacon, eggs, and toast for dinner, yummy.
the chosen gobbo
Been at a BB tourney over the weekend (I'll post pics once I have them).

Friday: Got into Manchester, went straight to a games store on Komads insistence (stank it did, the worst kind of games store blink.gif ). Had fish and chips for tea, and then found ourselves a pub.

Saturday: Sausage and bacon butties for breakfast. yum laugh.gif . Lunch was a subwar sandwich (meatballs and cheese) and dinner consisted of a late night trip to mcdonalds (it being the only place open at 11).

Today: Sausage butty for breakfast, a banana for a snack, and due to trains I missed lunch. Though I'm having a BBQ at home tonight with the family biggrin.gif
Cambyses
Cape Cod? Have a clam cake for me, please. Dip it in a little ketsup, not tarter or cocktail sauce because they overpower it. If you want a milkshake, remember to order a "frappe" (rymes with wrap) or you might get shaken milk.
JenBurdoo
Tate's gamestore had free barbeque to go with the new game. I ate two hot dogs (because the bun was so long it looked weird w/ just one) and a burger and a half. Oh, and I had a Miller Lite. Also pretzels, for a literal "beer-and-pretzels game." Now I have an upset stomach. Ow.
the chosen gobbo
Had the BBQ

Part of a leg of lamb, 2 burgers, three sausages on a bread roll. Potato salad, and a bottle of becks (because I had run out of ale sad.gif )

Back to painting now...
Ghaz
I'm on my own tonight, so I just got back from the local Chinese buffet. All-you-can-eat snow crab legs. [Homer Simpson voice] Mmmm... crab legs![/Homer Simpson voice]
Catachin Devil
Skiped breakfast again today, (I was asleep till 12:30ish, and didn't have time to eat `cause I had to go to my aunt's house to celebrate my and her's birthdays with the whole family) so for lunch/ breakfast (I supose that makes it brunch) we had Brots' and other picnicy substinces. Right now I'm eating the last pice of cake and the last bit-o-ice cream from friday *yum* smile.gif.
Tiger Raja
Yesterday, my neighbors organized an impromptu potluck dinner and invited my family. Mrs. Tiger baked some fish and we brought some white wine. I had some of the fish (AWESOME! Very juicy and flavorful) and lots of Chinese food. I love me the pork-fried rice.
Sproston Green
No remarkable kibble over the weekend. I have, though, renewed my comsumption of sunflower seeds. I just can't seem to quit them. sad.gif
Tiger Raja
Leftovers for lunch today, nothing special...except for the mint chocolate chip pudding my daughters made for me! biggrin.gif wub.gif
Cambyses
Was introduced to a great, smoke-free bar that served huge burgers and real french-fries. Mmm--dough-lish!
Devilsquid
Just had dinner at the in-laws. Blah meatloaf, with blah mashed potatoes and overcooked peas.

Num. Num. Num.

There wasn't enough salt and pepper on the table to compensate.
Sproston Green
While not strictly a food stuff, for lunch I just had a refreshing can of Arizona's Arnold Palmer Lite Half Iced Tea & Half Lemonade. It was nice and cheap too, about a buck for a 23oz can.
the chosen gobbo
Had a cheese and onion sandwich at work. Not bad at all.
grizgrin
Actually, lately a lot of ribs. The galley here aboard the Express has been doing a bang up job with cranking out ribs.
Only thing I can figure is that someone must have driven a bus through a heard of pigs onshore so we got the meat cheap. But it's been tender and tasty!
Had food poisoning AGAIN early this trip. Unreal, I get that about every other time I come to India. You'd think I'd learn.
the chosen gobbo
I've got a cannelloni in the oven. Love the stuff, and eat it all to rarely IMO.
Tiger Raja
Leftover spaghetti for lunch. Mrs. Tiger makes some awesome spaghetti. With meat sauce, of course. Meatless spaghetti is just...odd.
Sproston Green
It's been too uncomfortable weather wise to eat; I've been living on salads, water, and a bit of on sale kielbasa (cold, of course). cool.gif
Alun
Breakfast today was cereal.

Lunch was grilled cheese (yum), soup, and peaches.

Dinner was meatloaf, couscous, mangoes, and a really (x10) good home-made peanut butter cup.
the chosen gobbo
Just got up. Had a breakfast of 'bacon sandwich' and now I'm eating a banana.
